Drum filters provide uninterrupted filtration because the rotating drum surface cleans itself. They need no additional pressure, no maintenance and no consumables.
They operate at flows between 1 m³/h and 4,500 m³/h, over a 100–3,000 micron range, and can be built from stainless steel or synthetic material.
They are preferred for separating fine particles and organic matter from surface water, and for filtering heavily contaminated or fibrous water.
