On a treatment line whose capacity has fallen, whose quality no longer holds or whose consumption has risen, the first step is not buying new equipment but measuring the existing system. In most cases the problem concentrates in one stage, and once that stage is corrected the line reaches its target again.
In a system analysis we measure the raw water and the outlets of each stage, examine differential pressures and consumable use, and deliver the result as a concrete list of improvements.
The line is inspected end to end and the operators are interviewed.

In water treatment the symptoms look alike but the causes differ. A falling production flow with steady conductivity is one problem; a falling flow with rising conductivity is an entirely different one. A recommendation given without measurement is a guess.
That is why we always begin improvement work with measurement, and show clearly in the report which figure stands behind each recommendation.
