Filter media
Quartz sand, gravel, anthracite, activated carbon and special media. We supply media for bed replacement in existing filters.
We supply filter media for bed renewal in existing filters: quartz sand, gravel, anthracite, arsenic–iron–manganese removal mineral, activated carbon, cationic softening resin, mixed-bed demineralisation resin and dolomite mineral.
Quartz sand comes in 0.5–1, 1–3 and 3–5 mm grades; gravel support media in 3–5, 5–10 and 10–16 mm. Delivery is in 25 kg sacks or 1,000 kg big bags.
Anthracite is layered on top of the quartz sand bed; its dirt-holding capacity is higher than quartz sand alone, so service runs last longer and less water is spent on backwash. We also carry out media replacement.
