Biocides are chemicals that kill, destroy or neutralise moulds, microbes and other biological nuisances. In membrane systems and cooling circuits they are dosed to prevent biofilm formation.
Which biocide to use depends on the purpose, the type of surface it will contact and the type of micro-organism. Typical applications are water storage tanks, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and seawater reverse osmosis systems, and cooling towers.
Supplied in drums, barrels and IBCs.
